Best find ever!

One of the things that I am most thankful for in blog world is learning about products that other teachers love and recommend.  That's why I look forward to Elizabeth from Fun in Room 4B's Fabulous Find Friday!!  My fabulous find today isn't anything I found on my own, several of you have blogged about it.  However, I'm so in love with it that I had to let the world know!  It's the Scotch Thermal laminator!!
My school has a laminator but of course it's usually either empty or broken.  I was a little skeptical when I first purchased the laminator a few weeks ago.  I decided to give it a try yesterday after I printed the welcome sign I purchased from Tara at 4th Grade Frolics. The laminator worked perfectly and I love how it turned out (you'll have to wait to see the final product when I have my big classroom reveal).
I have a feeling that I'll be using this thing a lot in the coming weeks!!  On a final note, I'll leave you with a little laminating inspiration...

  1. I've asked someone else this but I want to ask you, too: With your laminator, if I had several things on a piece of paper that I wanted laminated, would I have to cut the things out before I laminate, or can I laminate and then cut it out. I've seen that some personal laminators are VERY thick. I want one of my own, but I want it to not be a wasted purchase. :)

  2. I have got to get me one. I really don't know why I don't go ahead. Must have something to do with the Hubs telling me not to spend much;)

  6. You can get 200 laminating pouches at Sam's Club for $20. I have the same laminator, and those are the ones I use. Happy laminating!!!

  7. I second the laminating sheets at Sams! I think they are great quality too... I actually prefer them over many other brands.

P.S I love that picture, hahahaha.

  8. Do you just feed the laminating pages right on in? I have a laminator, but you have to put in between this little pocket so that the plastic doesn't melt inside the laminator. Your picture made it look like the pages just feed right inside with nothing needed to protect it! (Ummmm and aren't laminators amazing? I am thoroughly obsessed with mine!)

    1. Amanda,
Yes, with the Scotch laminator you just feed the laminating pouches right in the laminator.
